NORTHWIND WELLNESS
Medical Weight Management
Individualized medical care — not a quick fix or one-size-fits-all program.
Northwind Wellness provides provider-led weight-management care based on your health history, goals, lifestyle, treatment preferences, and clinical needs.
INDIVIDUALIZED MEDICAL CARE
Weight management should be built around you.
Weight is influenced by many factors, including genetics, nutrition, activity, sleep, medications, metabolic health, hormonal changes, stress, medical conditions, and life circumstances.
Rather than placing every patient into the same program, we begin with a medical evaluation and develop an individualized treatment plan based on your health, goals, preferences, and clinical needs.
YOUR EVALUATION
A broader look at your health.
Your weight-management evaluation may include several factors that can influence treatment selection and long-term success.
Medical History
Review of current and past medical conditions, medications, treatment history, and relevant risk factors.
Metabolic Health
Assessment of weight-related health concerns and relevant metabolic or laboratory information when appropriate.
Lifestyle & Nutrition
Discussion of nutrition, activity, sleep, recovery, routines, and other factors that may influence treatment.
Your Goals
Treatment is tailored to your goals, preferences, prior experiences, and what is realistic for your life.
TREATMENT OPTIONS
Your plan may include more than one approach.
Recommendations are based on clinical appropriateness, safety, treatment goals, access, cost, and individual preference.
PRESCRIPTION TREATMENT
Weight-Management Medications
Prescription treatment may be considered when medically appropriate as part of a broader weight-management plan.
Options may include GLP-1 or GIP/GLP-1 medications and other evidence-based prescription therapies depending on your clinical needs.
MEDICATION ACCESS
Brand-Name or Compounded Options
When clinically appropriate, treatment may include an FDA-approved brand-name medication or a compounded medication.
Availability, eligibility, formulation, pharmacy requirements, and cost may vary.
FOUNDATIONAL SUPPORT
Nutrition & Lifestyle
Medication is only one potential part of treatment. Your care may also include nutrition, movement, sleep, recovery, and behavioral strategies.
Recommendations are individualized rather than based on a rigid meal plan or standardized program.
ONGOING CARE
Monthly Provider Follow-Up
Ongoing medical visits allow your provider to assess response, tolerability, progress, and changing treatment needs.
Medication dose and treatment strategy may be adjusted over time when clinically appropriate.
TRANSPARENT CARE
No long-term program commitment. No medication markup.
Northwind Wellness is designed around medical care rather than a subscription-style weight-loss package.
Medication costs depend on the specific treatment, dose, formulation, pharmacy, and insurance coverage. When medication is purchased separately, patients pay the applicable office or pharmacy price.
Northwind Wellness does not add a separate medication markup simply for prescribing a treatment.

LONG-TERM HEALTH
Success is more than a number on the scale.
